Castrol to Go Ex-Dividend on March 18, ₹9.5 Per Share Payout

Castrol will go ex-dividend on March 18, 2025, with ₹5 per share and a special dividend of ₹4.50 per share, totaling ₹9.50 per share. The company continues to reward its shareholders with consistent dividends. In the fiscal year FY24-25 Castrol India declared a total dividend of ₹13 per share.
The stock price for Castrol has risen more than 15% from its lows this year so far. The primary driver of this uplift has been reports that Saudi Aramco is reportedly considering a bid for BP's Castrol lubricants business. BP Plc, the parent company, holds a 51% stake in Castrol India and is considering a stake sale. Aramco's acquisition will have a positive impact on Castrol's business expansion in India.
